SilverCreek allows you, the end user, to configure many aspects of its testing environment. To get started, click on the Tools menu, then on Options.
Under the Debug tab, you may adjust the packet debugging preferences by adjusting the level of detail you would like to see regarding sent and received packets.
Under the Journal tab, you may select the type of data captured and saved for journal and remote logging.
Under the Test tab, you may configure the number of errors that may occur before a test fails.
For example, if you want the test to fail the first time your agent returns an incorrect response, set this value to one.
The System Reboot Check configuration determines if SilverCreek should check if an agent rebooted while a test was running.
To ignore lexicographic errors while running MIB walking tests, check this box.
