tComLabs Selects SilverCreek® for Official SNMP and DOCSIS Testing
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA - (May 1, 2001) - tComLabs of Ghent, Belgium selected SilverCreek SNMP test suite from InterWorking Labs, Inc. of Scotts Valley, CA as part of its official test fixture for certifying cable modems (CM) and cable modem termination systems (CMTS) to the Euro-DOCSIS 1.0 Specification.

tComLabs, founded in May 2000 and located in Ghent, Belgium, was formed as an independent company to help cable operators to gain a competitive advantage and to make the cable network the preferred access network for broadband services. tComLabs performs certification testing, compliance testing and performance testing of cable access products based on the Euro-DOCSIS standard. A second activity is in the field diagnostic and certification testing of HFC networks with respect to interference from ingress and impulse noise. It also organizes customized training sessions related to the HFC networks and standards.
